Position Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, some overtime occasionally.
Primary Job Function:
Wiring, hook-up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressers, transformers, contactors, starters and motor control centers, etc. Maintain and troubleshoot sensors. Troubleshoot electrical problems on all refrigerant equipment. Solder cables and bulkheads• Machine enclosures/back plates using hand/power tools. Wire enclosures/back plates, as well as, neatly bundle wires when routing. Ability to understand and make minor modifications to electrical schematics including power and control circuits and identify required components. Install cable tray. Terminate field wiring. Layout, route, terminate, and test robot fixtures and/or jigs. Troubleshoot, debug, and repair equipment mechanically and electrically with assistance. Basic electricity and control systems. Electrical calculations (load size, wire limitations, etc.). Install conduit (all types). Install, connect and adjust controllers, components, devices using hand tools. Layout device locations on equipment to be controlled. Low voltage up to 120vac. Pull wire. Standard design symbols common to industry. Understand, and work from floor plans, blueprints, specifications, and schematics. Voltage above 480vac. DDC components, devices, safeties.
Skills & Requirements:
Three years’ experience in industrial setting. Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals. Must have knowledge of three phase motors. Familiarity with National Electrical Code. Excellent mechanical skills required. Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a fit test. Motor alignment experience a plus. Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations. Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
Other Requirements:
Well groomed, neat appearance. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Valid social security number. Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company. Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required. Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction. Ability to see and hear industrial equipment as it moves around the job site. Capable of lifting to 75lbs frequently during the day. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, work at heights, and climb ladders throughout the day. Ability to work in very hot or cold temperatures and wear all required safety PPE in these conditions.
Licenses: • Limited Energy License OR ability to obtain one.
Compensation: Salary based on experience
